Guest Cottages

There is no better medicine than a familiar touch, especially if a loved one is sick and far from home. Specialized veterinary care can be a life-saver, and staff offer tender and expert care.

But it is not like home.

Pets’ families often travel long distances to get to the hospital in order to visit once or twice a day. Or, if they cannot bear visiting so infrequently, they stay in nearby but costly hotels to be close to their beloved pets.

Frankie’s Friends created the Guest Cottages to fill the gap. Through the generosity of people like you, families of pets who are critically ill or who require therapies that need extended hospital stays, now may qualify for a comfortable and affordable cottage located right on the hospital grounds.

Who benefits most? It’s hard to say if the sick pets benefit most from the healing power of having the companionship of those who love them, or if the concerned families benefit most by knowing they are doing everything they can for their beloved pets.

Our first Guest Cottage will be built in Tampa next to Florida Veterinary Specialists (soon to become BluePearl Veterinary Partners).
