Who is Frankie?

Frankie was a beautiful greyhound, cherished by the DeBartolo family of Tampa, Florida, who rescued her from the world of dog racing. In addition to endowing the foundation with Frankie DeBartolo’s name, the foundation is endowed with her boundless spirit and vitality.

Born in 1996, Frankie was treated at Florida Veterinary Specialists (soon to become BluePearl Veterinary Partners) for heart disease and cancer beginning in 2000. She died in 2006.
